Robbins Bros. Makes an Engaging Windy City Entrance
October 26, 2007 - With three new store locations in Illinois - Schaumburg (opened Jul. 26), Oak Brook (opened Aug. 23), and Bucktown (opened Oct.11), Robbins Bros. is now ready to engage couples all over Chicagoland. Most recently, over 250 of Chicago's finest descended upon Robbins Bros. new Bucktown location on Oct. 25th to celebrate the World's Biggest Engagement Ring Store and raise funds for Children's Memorial Hospital.
Partygoers walked a red carpet to the jazz-themed event greeted by the sounds of local Sinatra-style singer, Michael Hutchins, and a dazzling display of diamond engagement rings. Guests were treated to a taste of the good life with a red hot fashion show, emceed by local celebrities Jen Schefft (Bachelorette) and Susanna Homan (Chicago Sun-Times). This unique show featured platinum-woven, couture wedding gowns from Italy and Korea, previously shown at the Louvre and provided by Platinum Guild International.
