George and Margaret
George Uribe and Margaret Binford were engaged to be married on February 13, 2007 at Saint Patrick's Cathedral in New York City.
The couple enjoyed dinner in the Rainbow Room atop of Rockefeller Center overlooking Manhattan. During the dinner George presented to Margaret a 20th Century French Limoges Box with a special note enclosed only for her eyes expressing his love for her for all eternity. This practice has been a tradition for couples throughout the world.
As the couple left the Rainbow Room, George asked Margaret to pop into Saint Patrick's Cathedral with him for a moment. Much to Margaret's surprise it was a visit that would change their lives forever.
The couple walked into the chapel, recited the Lord's Prayer with the song "On Eagles Wings" playing in the background as George dropped to his knees looking Margaret in her eyes and asked her to marry him. The special moment occurred in Lady Chapel at 7pm and was witnessed by Margaret's parents, Doug and Randall Binford who flew in from San Antonio, Texas for the occasion.
The excitement continued throughout the evening and ended with frozen hot chocolate at the famous "Serendipity" located in the Upper East Side of New York City.
