Jeff and Jolene
My fiance' and I went on a 4-day trip up to Yosemite National Park and then on the final day drove back home along the coast starting near Cambria. At Jalama Beach (north of Santa Barbara) we stopped to have lunch and a nice relaxing stroll along the beach. During our stroll, we stopped to look out at the ocean and when this happened, I pulled out the ring and asked her to marry me. She said "yes”, of course. Jalama Beach is one of my fiance's favorite places as she grew up going on family camping trips there for spring break throughout most of her childhood. She indicated after the proposal that it was perfect and she loved it.
