Tyrone and Christina

Tyrone came into our Fullerton, California store looking for a radiant-cut diamond to give to his girlfriend of two years, Christina. With help from engagement expert Claudia, he picked out the perfect diamond and a beautiful ring setting. The team of ambassadors knew that Tyrone wanted to make his July 4th proposal absolutely perfect, so they stepped into action and secured a custom banner with “Will You Marry Me, Christina?” Tyrone stopped by the store on July 3rd to pick up the gorgeous diamond ring, the banner, and some last minute encouragement before the big day.

On the morning of the 4th of July, Tyrone went to the park early, where he and Christina always walk their dogs. Her cousin Heidi was in on the secret and she met him at the park with a fully-stocked picnic basket and blanket, and together they tied the enormous sign to the trees. Tyrone then went to Christina's house, leashed the dogs and they took their daily stroll to the park. Christina had absolutely no idea that anything unusual was about to happen. In fact, when she saw a sign off in the distance, she began to squint, and just assumed it was for some Independence-themed event going on in the park.

As Christina approached the sign and began to make out the letters, she was taken aback, and by the time she realized the sign was for HER, Tyrone had dropped to one knee and presented her with the diamond engagement ring of her dreams. She said yes, and thanks to our in-house paparazzi (the engagement expert, Claudia) we have pictures of the proposal.
