5 Quick Dressing Tips for The Wedding Party

1. Choose styles that are flattering for most body types. Or select the fabric and color at a major bridal shop and allow each bridesmaid to personally choose a “custom” dress from a range of styles that they feel most comfortable in and look their best. A slender, youthful bridesmaid may choose a strapless style, while a friend who is pregnant can opt for an Empire-waist design.
2. Make sure shoes are as comfortable as they are pretty. You don't want a bridesmaid tripping as she walks down the aisle. Select a neutral color that they can wear again. (No one really needs a pair of foam green satin platform sandals, right?)
3. Groomsmen should match each other perfectly. Check to see that each man has the same cufflinks, studs and shoes.
4. Bridesmaid dresses should not have a train. They'll be doing lots of walking so you don't want their shoes getting caught on their dresses. This goes for the flower girl as well.
5. Keep the colors simple. Too many color combinations worn by your wedding party will look too busy. Select 2-3 colors or shades of one color and stick to that.
