The Best Wedding Tool Yet

I'm excited to say I will be featured in a blog spot with Brides.com!  It's called "5 Questions with Katie Tiffany" and this was one of the questions I really enjoyed: "How is today's bride different than brides of 10 years ago?"

Today's brides have access to the best wedding planning tool yet: the Internet!  It's hard to believe, but just ten years ago, many people had not even purchased their first computer or created their first email address.  However, today's bride is tech savvy and utilizes the computer and worldwide web to access an endless amount of resources.  Brides use the internet to research and review their vendors; compare websites and view wedding photo galleries.  She can order almost anything online: invitations, favors, bridal gifts, décor items and so much more!  She will most likely create a wedding website for her guests to check her registry, find directions to the wedding and other event details.  Some people are even opting to rsvp online now!  And the most recent trend: blogs and chat rooms where brides share their experiences, likes and dislikes with other brides across the nation.  It's really quite amazing to think that today's bride has so much information... literally at the touch of her fingertips!
