Photo Booths... the new Guest Book
Have you ever been asked to be the "Guest Book Attendant" at someone's wedding? This is not considered the most exciting or privileged job, right?! The traditional guest book is quite boring (let's be honest!), but we've seen a turn for the better!
A trend that has been growing in recent years: photo guest books! This has been popular with Polaroid cameras and film... allowing guests to write their wishes for the bride and groom next to their photo at your wedding. A fun, interactive idea! (Much to my disappointment, Polaroid has stopped making their instant cameras, as digital film now takes over.)
Another idea for a fantastic photo guest book: Rent an old-fashioned photo booth! The guests love these and they often make repeated trips back to the photo booth through the evening. The photos can be placed in the guest book AND taken home as favors for your guests. And you walk away with an original, personal and memorable guest book to keep for years to come.
When shopping for your photo booth, keep in mind the following options are available:
- You should find a company that provides the book, pens, tape, etc.
- You want a company that provides at least one attendant through the event
- Both black and white or color film options are available
- Look for personalized photos with your names, wedding date or location
- Look for companies that provide you with a CD of all digital images taken
